When you must use all the colours!

When you must use all the colours!

I don't know about you, but I have the hardest time when it comes to making colour decisions. Do I want pink, or purple, or maybe a fabulously rich blue. The choices at my fingertips are endless. Hazard of my job I guess.

What is my solution you may wonder. Well I usually solve this dilemma of mine by knitting something in many colours and my favorite thing to make is three coloured shawls. Lets just say that Ravelry has an endless stockpile of ideas for you to pick from.

I had a my daughter, Mila (pictured above), help me create some kits for you all to make your colour decisions all that much easier. I was quite proud of this young lady's eye for colour, we had a lot of fun.

Chantal has been working on her own three coloured shawl while away in India and I cannot wait to see her progress when she returns. I am sure she will have tones of pictures and a lovely and funny story for us all soon.

Here are her colour choices! She always picks something so fun and vibrant. From left to right: Paua Shell, Fiesta, and Marina on our Cashmerino Sock base.

I am off to once again go play with all the yarn as I am working on getting ready for the Toronto Knitters Frolic at the end of this month. Will you be there? If so please stop by and say hi, we would love to hear from you and see your lovely knits.

Happy Making,

Ashley xo
